Mat The Alien has been on fire, dropping Dubstep, Jungle and Drum & Bass bangers recently.
Train To Hyderabad begins with intricate organic percussion, melodic worldly harps come in and the rolling bass and drums carry it into some deep atmospherics that carry you through this awesome train journey, and all on a deep Dubstep groove.
The second tune takes on a deep dub vibe, heavily drawing on a ‘steppers beat’ and slowly brings in South Asian instrumentation over atmospheric vocal chants.
These beats and basslines flow as easily as oil over water.

Since the age of 14 Mat has been mixing , scratching and making mixes - beats , spanning many genres and styles but always having one thing in common - heavy beats and bass lines which appeals to a wide variety of crowds.
Growing up with his father owning a record store, led to Mat finding his love for crate digging and evolving into a beat and bass connoisseur. Mat’s Original music and Remixes are coming fast and furious , they have been featured on many T.V. shows , DVDs and webisodes . His Remixes for Nick Thayer, (Featured on Diplos Mad Decent Blog) , and also original music have received positive feedback and plays from some of the industry’s biggest names . His scratches can be heard on tracks by Fort Knox Five, Eprom, ill.Gates, Mochipet, Sweatshop Union & EA Sports NBA Home Court 3.
